Big Kids Care

I am happy to announce that Whippy Cake has been invited to sponsor another benefit in California. The Event is Big Kids Care and it will be held at the XAI Verandah Lounge in Hollywood on July 21st. I am so excited to participate and contribute to raising money for programs, tutoring, mentoring and more for at risk youth. I'm super hyped about going and raising awareness. Participating in benefits like this is absolutely rewarding and helps me refocus on what is important in life.


The red carpet event has fabulous music, catering and entertainment planned so if you are 21 and older and will be in the area be sure to come out and support the cause! You can find out more information on the event, the celebrity guest attending and other sponsors on the website.

I will of course follow up with pictures and a recap of our experience after the event!

Inspire a Little Love Event

Kelsey and I had so much fun on our trip to LA. We barely made it to the event on time because of traffic and California's vicious freeways but we did make it there.

First thing on our to do list was of course to get cupcakes!

The rest of the event consisted of giving out Whippy Cake to celebrities in the gifting suite and then lots and lots of socializing. We got cleaned out big time but hopefully we will get to see some positive results from all those freebies. Madison Leisle has already emailed me to order some more appliques, cute little thing :)

I felt like such a Gleek

Josh Sussman was the coolest kid to talk to at the benefit. I am updating the blog from my phone so this is all you get for now, but I can tell you we had a blast and met tons of cool cats.

3 inches of fame

On Friday I dropped off some Glamour Bands at Loveland in Tempe and picked up a stack of 944 magazines. I was given a stack of mine own to give away because right there on pg. 93 was a 3 inch tribute to Whippy Cake's Glamour Bands. I will spare you my gabbing details and get to what you really want to see. The MAG!

Fox 10 News {again}

Kristin invited me to join in on the fun this morning at DB for a sneak peak at the store and the fab new layout and classes. The camera loves London :) Actually Tom (camera man) and Dianne (anchor woman) couldn't believe how sweet and quiet she was. It's always fun to be on TV especially with a bunch of fun and sassy friends. You can click here to see the clip.
