if you can bare it...

Before I delve into all the Whippy Cake announcements and changes coming up we really wanted to share a story with you. Wendy and I have had the pleasure to meet an inspiring family and are slowly getting to know them. Today I want to share a video about a boy named Asher, who is the big brother in the family. This video was made by his daddy Jeremy so I hope when you are watching it you will view it from a parents perspective...

Untitled from zeropointD on Vimeo.

Asher's little brother Paxon was born on Christmas day, a miracle of it's own. We will be sharing more about Paxon later as well as how we got to know the family but today we really felt like was important to focus on this video and the message.

For more information on how you can help go to www.cff.org.

Darn you, Becki and Wendy. I was all smiley, thinking what a darling little boy Asher was. Then I saw him hooked up to that machine with his little teddy bear and I burst into tears.
God bless him and their family.

My neighbors little boy has CF. Such an adorable child. Watching this video made me teary eyed. It's one thing to hear about it but to actually see it is sad. God bless the children and the families with CF

My husband is 28 yrs old, and he has CF! We participate in the "Making Strides for CF" walk every year! CF research has come so far since 1990! Paxon is in good hands with the wonderful pulmonology teams that are here in AZ. whether he is in Tucson or if he see the Doctors in PHX! God bless him and his family! It truly is a heart breaking disease but he will be able to live a full and long life with proper treatments :)

What a beautiful and touching video. One of my best friends lived with CF for 21 years before she passed away... I love hearing how much the life expectancy has grown the past 10 years... please do give, such a worthy cause!

Becki- This post gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes!

My cousin Amanda died at age 22 years old from CF. She learned she had CF at age 20 just 2 months before wedding. CF took control over her so fast that she never had the strength to walk down the aisle.

Also as a side note this past weekend I read a book "A thousand tomorrows" By Karen Kingsbury.
I highly recommend reading it. It's about CF.

I also was brought to tears by the image of that precious angel baby hooked up to that machine. That little boy is absolutely adorable. I don't personally know anyone with CF, but as a parent myself, I can only imagine. I will pray for this baby boy and his family. God Bless.
