Let the Braids begin

I thought I would start the month of braids off with something simple. I saw Rachel Mcadams sporting a hairstyle similar to this and I have always wanted to try it.

This is how mine turned out.

Here is how I did it...

When you said you were dedicating June to braids, I was really hoping you would do something like this. I really like it with two braids, as I had imagined one. You can bet I'll be wearing this look this weekend.

I love your tutorials. Unfortunately for me, I have never been able to do up my own hair. I haven't correctly finished one of your tutorials but I will keep trying and I will succeed.

I love that you braid your short hair! Thanks for yet another great tutorial. The other day, I tried your boho braid one, and it made my forehead look perfect instead of having corners as usual. So thanks!

Did this today! When I came out of the bathroom my hubby said..."Wow, where are you off too?!" He really liked it! And random compliments throughout the day! Love it and sooo easy!

Hi! I'm new to your site, and have just spent the last hour... or more, loving everything!

I wanted to tell you that I did this hair style on my hair today and everyone loves it, especially me! Since I have long hair, I wanted to finish off the "messy" look, so instead of just leaving my hair long in the pony tail, I did a "messy" bun! This is my new favorite thing to do with my hair!

Love your blog!

So exited that I ran across your blog, esp. your "hair-to's". Keep them coming!

Ooh, I love this! I would love to try it on myself, but I don't think I could do it. Instead, I might try it on one of my daughters.
I am going to snag your fingernail cuteness for myself! ;)

Becki,
Oh I love the idea of two braids on the same side! I've done this with one braid before, but never two! Great idea I can't wait to try it! Thanks for the tutorial.
