I get a little frustrated with myself when I get stressed out. Stress takes the skip out of my step if you know what I mean. It often makes me a little subdued or "cranky". I don't like being cranky because I feel like the cranks are contagious and who wants to be responsible for making other people moody? I can't say that I have enjoyed anything that is contagious... except for SMILES of course, which I do like. I try to smile and spread the cheer around, it'd be selfish to keep it to myself it being such a good feeling and all. It surprises me how often I encounter grumpy individuals in the public world. I try not to catch it though and infect them with my wit and charm in return (take that!). I think there's only been like 3 people I couldn't turn but I'll get em' next time. I'm not so understanding when I come across the downer blogs and downer people. Why you would ever intentionally try to make someone feel bad or offended is befuddling to me if I may be so bold to use vocabulary out of my comfort zone. And that's why I don't like being stressed/cranky because there's no scattering of the sunshine. I do appreciate a blessed soul who can turn me though, not an easy thing to do when I am in the thick of it. I'm a lucky one with all the glowing peeps around me to keep me in the cheery notes of life. So this morning I blog to make a commitment to keep my pages cheery and to do my best to inspire a little delight in those who visit, starting with this....
just try and have a bad day after that I DARE you!

1. I didn't mean to sound like Buddy the Elf on purpose in my post
2. watch the video a second time and look at the smiles on the people watching the hugs because it's almost as good as the people getting hugs.
3. I love how the downers (security)get infected at the end. Take that!
Wow, that was great Becki! Thanks for sharing it!
I got my whippy cakes yesterday! My 12yr old daughter wanted it, but I told her she could only borrow it! I love the color it is so pretty!
I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out! I feel like it needs to be one of the Mormon Messages with a talk from President Monson in the back ground or something. Sweet nibs. Thanks for sharing!
I'm tearing up over here! Thank you for sharing this! I love how powerful a simple act of kindness can be!
Wow in puddles over here! thanks for sharing! You have inspired my today... thank you! (((((Hugs)))))
I love you, Becki! When I saw on FB that were FREE HUGS on your blog today I thought: gosh I could use one. I'm not cranky, just emotional. I've been sitting in front of my sewing machine all morning to feel better. And this perked me right up!
BTW, I made a stunning silver silk high neck blouse -- that came out a size too small. I can't get into the darn thing. Guess I'll be posting it on Etsy!
Hi Becki,
I recently came across your headbands and am dying to get my hands on one! PLEASE let me know when you are taking orders again, I will be putting in a few orders!
Also I love this post, I often read friends complaining about why people don't write about the bad times or as they say real times. I found this quote:"i choose to write about the good, to photograph the beautiful...and by doing so, the bad has disappeared, even in my mind."
I loved that quote.
Anyways now that I have written a novel.
Thanks for posting!
I always leave feeling a lot better after visiting your girly, pink and oh so creative blog!

Thanks for that! It gave me chills. It's crazy how one simple act can cause so much happiness! Hugs to you, and your awesome blog!
